About Xandra

My Story

I have always been passionate about sport and fitness, having grown up as a competitive swimmer.  In my twenties, I discovered an aptitude for running and racing, particularly at half marathon distance.

Outside of my family life, the gym is where I am most comfortable.  It has felt like a natural progression to take the knowledge that I have acquired along the way and to add to it more formally, to qualify as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor.

My Classes

Many women find that their exercise and fitness needs are not being met.  Most people attend gyms and leisure facilities with very large numbers of members.  Group classes may often accept as many as 30 participants in one class, which means that individual guidance and support is very limited. For some, such large, busy and public environments are simply too intimidating.

Others will attend classes regularly and with enthusiasm, but then become frustrated because they reach a plateau in their training and find that there is little scope and support for progression.  My aim is to offer training that gives attention to individuals so that they can grow in confidence and move forward.
