Enjoyable & Effective Training in Canterbury

I believe that your training should be both enjoyable and effective. We will focus on identifying and working towards your goals. Training sessions will vary in terms of their focus upon cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, muscular endurance, and flexibility and the availability of nutritional advice, as appropriate.

Sessions will have structure and variety. Examples of training techniques that may be used include cardiovascular training, bodyweight exercises, kettlebells, dumbbells, sandbags, barbells, TRX® Suspension Training®, Boxercise® and stretching.

Upcoming Sessions

Step 1

Free 15 Minute Consultation

This is a free, informal initial consultation to discuss your current situation and what you hope to achieve from personal training.

Step 2

First Personal Training session

In the first Personal Training session you will be taken through a series of exercises in order to establish current level of functional fitness.  Don’t worry, this is nothing to be afraid of!

There will be lots of communication between us to make sure that you understand what is being asked of you and why.  You will never be forced to do anything that you are not comfortable with.

 

Step 3

Subsequent sessions

Once that you have completed your first formal training session, I will then develop your fitness programme and we will begin to work together to help you to move towards the attainment of your goals.

Sessions will be structured, but also offer variety and challenge.  As you develop and progress, your sessions will be adapted to ensure that they continue to support you as you move forwards in both confidence and fitness.
